Proposition and Messaging

Our Proposition and Messaging projects either follow-on directly from Purpose and Brand Development work or exist as standalone exercises using current purpose/brand thinking.  Here, we are looking for a company proposition, portfolio proposition and all-round messaging that both resonates with your customers/prospects and differentiates you from your competition.  We work on the following areas with you:

  • Competitor analysis of externally available (i.e. website and PR) proposition/messaging
  • Analysis of your current public domain proposition and messaging (website and PR)
  • Understanding and articulation of customer needs/requirements/issues (problems solved)
  • Understanding and articulation of the business outcomes and results you deliver
  • Develop and refine your top-level company proposition and differentiated messaging
  • Develop portfolio proposition, individual product propositions, and associated messaging

At the end of this project, we will have helped you to understand how your competitors stand out, how you compare to them, and how you should talk to customers about the problems you solve and the outcomes you deliver.  We will also have redeveloped how you articulate your overall product portfolio (aligned with those outcomes) and the individual products/services therein.  If we are also working on content or web projects, we put this messaging at the heart of your user journey for customer acquisition.
