Scale-up Martech SaaS Provider
We helped with investment/exit readiness, best practice advice on GTM, CX and operational maturity, with a detailed action plan for improving their overall business in general and for raising money specifically. Workshops with both board and management team followed too.
Established Data Analytics Business
We undertook a purpose and brand workshop, leading to a brand refresh and a tactical redevelopment of their existing website. We have also helped with proposition messaging, event support, a full suite of collateral tools and are developing a brand new website.
Ambitious Managed Cloud Hosting Company
We supported them with a fundraise with private equity firms to raise capital for a buy-and-build. We also helped with developing their purpose, differentiation and high-level company proposition, as well as tactical marketing content and collateral support.
Established VoIP Hosting Business
They were looking to target a new market segment so we helped with market research, insights and customer buying behaviour. This led to a report that contained a detailed analysis of the opportunity and a long action plan of how to target that space. We followed-up with a presentation to the board and a training session with their managers too.
Scale-up SaaS Provider in the EPOS Space
Initially, we conducted a marketing maturity and competitor positioning audit. This led to a full rebrand, our help in recruiting and developing an in-house marketing manager, a new website with all content developed by Sunfish, and a complete collateral suite too.
Sophisticated Contact Centre Provider
We provided board-level fundraising and material development for a highly-skilled contact centre and customer experience expert. They were looking to raise senior debt capital to undertake a number of investments and we helped to develop the narrative, business case and content for the banks to consider.
Scale-up B2B SaaS Provider in the CX Space
Being unsatisfied with the results of a recent rebrand, and not having the budget to start from scratch, this B2B SaaS business was looking to refine their new brand identity and collateral to make it more suitable for their audience in regulated industries. We updated their VI with new fonts, iconography, photography, logo options and a corporate slide deck template.
Specialist IT and Tech Services Provider
An initial assessment of their current marketing and competitive positioning led to a complete reinvention of their business. We have developed a new name, visual identity, proposition and messaging. We have executed this via a new logo, colour palette, website, content, collateral and ongoing marketing support.
Private Airline Provider
We provided board-level support to CXO contacts to develop their technical/IT strategy so that it was aligned with the business strategy, marketing and digital plans, and their own product evolution. This also included multiple iterations of the plan and creation of net-new content and materials.
Private Equity Investors
We provide regular consulting services to PE firms in the UK and the US who are looking at investments in the UK tech sectors. These are both telephone and face-to-face engagements. We help them to understand the market trends, buying behaviour across different customer sizes, players in the landscape, integration and operational challenges, and so on.
Big Four Consultants
We also provide the same form of consulting services for Big Four consulting firms who are providing strategic advice and/or deal-specific DD services to institutional investors or private equity firms. Typically, these projects are either broad-scope market attractiveness assessments or they pertain to a specific investment opportunity. We provide them with practitioner-level expertise across all commercial, M&A, integration, transformation and operational areas.
It’s not all serious at Sunfish. We have our pet project, WinedUp Club, that provides us with a sandbox to test out new marketing and social campaign ideas as well as giving us a content showcase. Everything associated with WinedUp is developed in-house by the Sunfish team, from the brand through the design and the video content itself.
